A Bible-centered community committed to equipping God's people for the work of ministry, grounded in Scripture and strengthened through genuine fellowship.
We have two distinct services on Sunday separated by a couple of hours for eating and fellowship. This empowers our families to maximize their Sunday and still get home in time for the kids to get to bed.
We don't separate parents from children. The assembly is only one facet of biblical training and must be reinforced throughout the week by spiritually-proactive parents.
We use traditional hymns, not because we're traditionalists, but because we've judged the music to be most honoring to God and the words to be doctrinally rich and theologically sound.
We memorize Scripture as a church because God's Word is life and light. Building a foundation of God's truth strengthens our faith and equips us for ministry.
We use the King James Bible, not because we feel we must, but because through careful research we believe it to be the best translation currently available.

Church isn't just about fellowship—it's about training you for the work of the ministry. If you are a believer, you have work to do, and we aim to equip you to do it.
Assembly with God's people is intended to strengthen and teach you to go out into the world and win them to Christ. We gather with that goal in mind: to equip God's people to do the work of the ministry.
Everyone has a part to play in Christ's body. We want to help you find your part, then live it. If God wants you in His church, then God has a place for you to serve.
Our church has people who dress up and casual. We appreciate those who desire to look their best for the Lord. However, you won't feel uncomfortable if you come casual. All we ask is that you be modest, decent, and dignified in your appearance.
All preaching and teaching will be done in the King James Version, but you are welcome to follow along in whatever version you prefer. We do have sound, historical, and biblical reasons for using the KJV. Please don't form a hasty opinion about us without getting to know us first—we'd love to share our reasoning!
We don't have dedicated programs for children, because we want to encourage parents to take the primary role in their childrens' spiritual development. This means that it is the responsibility of each family to care for their own children's needs. We are accustomed to the sounds of little ones in our services, and we welcome them. We also provide spaces for children to go if they need a break from the service where parents can still hear the preaching and participate in worship. We want to encourage parents to train their children to engage with the church in worship, and can lend our experience to helping you do just that.
The morning service usually ends around 11:30 AM, and the afternoon service begins at 1:30 PM. Between these services families will usually eat a packed lunch together. Once per month we bring a potluck style meal to share together. While packing a lunch is certainly an added "burden" to the day, the time of fellowship and rest between services has been a blessing to our families. We encourage you to give it a try!
"But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God."
1 Corinthians 1:23-24
